The new Puig D12 winglet range for the BMW S 1000 R has been designed with a clear goal: to put aerodynamics first. These side winglets have been developed to offer maximum aerodynamic performance on high-performance motorcycles.

The innovative double-wing design, with differentiated surfaces separated by a lateral winglet, channels airflow upwards, generating greater downforce without compromising the overall aerodynamic coefficient. The inclination of the surfaces has been carefully studied to provide an optimal balance between performance and stability.

Thanks to this configuration, an aerodynamic load of up to 4.4 kg is achieved on the front axle, resulting in an anti-wheelie effect, greater high-speed stability (anti-shimmy), improved braking efficiency, and more stable behavior during direction changes.
