The Puig Touring windscreen for the BMW R1300R was developed with the primary objective of significantly increasing protection for the rider’s torso, improving comfort on long journeys and at sustained speeds without compromising the motorcycle’s modern aesthetics.

Its design incorporates a specifically engineered central lower cutout to ensure full compatibility with the R1300R’s front radar system. The upper surface, with its pronounced windscreen shape, effectively deflects airflow from the frontal area, reducing the pressure acting directly on the rider’s chest.

From an aerodynamic standpoint, the windscreen has been carefully designed to optimize protection and minimize turbulence. When viewed from the side, the upper flip can be seen, designed to redirect the air sufficiently to eliminate the most disruptive turbulence, particularly the turbulence generated around ear level.

The lower and side sections integrate perfectly with the distinctive radar-equipped front end of the BMW R1300R, deflecting lateral airflow and fitting precisely around the headlight to create a harmonious and functional assembly.

As a distinctive detail, the clear, light smoked and dark smoked versions feature an internal screen-printed finish that conceals the mounting brackets, providing a cleaner, more minimalist finish and preventing the original plastic covers located behind the windscreen from being visible.

It is available in the following finishes: clear, light smoked and dark smoked.
