CANSmart Denali Controller BMW R 1300 GS

Harness the flexibility and intelligence of your BMW motorcycle's CAN bus electrical system to make accessory installation significantly easier with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ GEN II controller.

The DENALI CANsmart™ controller allows plug-and-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories to enable dozens of customizable settings that can be controlled directly from the BMW “WonderWheel” or CANsmart™ Accessory Management Software.

The four CANsmart circuits are pre-programmed to independently connect and control two sets of DENALI 2.0 lights, a SoundBomb horn, and our B6 auxiliary brake light.

Gen II – More features, more power, more versatility
Unlike the Gen I CANsmart, the Gen II's four circuits can provide 10 amps of continuous power, and each circuit can be configured to run any type of accessory. The maximum power draw for the entire unit remains at 30 amps continuous. The Gen II also features two new auxiliary lighting settings. You can now modulate your auxiliary lights for increased visibility and set your left and right side marker lights to turn off independently when you activate your corresponding turn signal.

Features

High/Low Sync - Set the auxiliary lights to switch between a programmable high/low setting with the factory high beam switch.
ON/OFF and Dim - Independently control two sets of lights ON/OFF and change the intensity level (for day and night) directly from your vehicle's factory switches.
Modulate the lights - Set the auxiliary lights to modulate to increase your visibility to other motorists.
Flash to Pass - Need to get someone's attention? Press your high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will flash three times faster.
Turn Signal Override – This feature overrides the corresponding auxiliary light when you activate your turn signal, preventing the powerful auxiliary lights from overpowering your signal.
Reverse Flash with Hazards – This feature flashes your auxiliary lights in reverse of your hazard lights, increasing visibility in the event of a roadside emergency.
Plug & Play Horn Installation – Quickly and easily connect high-power aftermarket horns like our SoundBomb™ without having to add an additional harness or relay.
Strobe with Horn - With this feature selected, the CANsmart™ software will automatically flash your auxiliary lights when you honk your horn. This feature works whether the factory horn or the SoundBomb™ horn is installed.
Deceleration-Activated Smart Brake Technology - CANsmart™ reads real-time vehicle speed to activate your auxiliary brake light during deceleration before you even touch the brake. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the smart brake feature will activate.
Flash Pattern Braking - The CANsmart™ offers four different flash patterns that make our auxiliary brake lights super bright, even visible to motorists behind you. You can set the auxiliary brake lights to flash only under heavy braking, flash continuously when your brake is applied, or flash four times quickly and then remain steady (California-legal flash rate).
Circuit Function Selector - The CANsmart software's Circuit Function Selector allows you to run any accessory of your choice on any of the four circuits. Click on a circuit icon to open the drop-down menu and select from the list of available circuit functions.
Switched Power Source - The CANsmart™ provides a universal "accessory" option that simply gives you a clean switched 12V power supply. This means that whatever accessory you connect to this circuit, it will turn on and off with your ignition.
Delay Time Out - You can also set the accessories on this circuit to have a timeout. This will keep them powered on for up to 30 seconds after you turn off your bike.
On-board power - The “accessory” circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heating equipment, or any other electronic device.
