Puig side deflectors for the BMW R 1300 GS serve a particularly versatile dual function thanks to their adjustable mechanism, which allows them to be set in three different positions to suit the needs of each situation.

Rest position: the deflectors remain integrated and protected, perfectly complementing the motorcycle’s design lines.

Open position (winter): they channel the frontal air toward the engine area, making use of the boxer engine’s heat to direct it toward the rider’s legs and provide greater comfort in cold weather.

Closed position (summer): they block the warm airflow coming from the engine, preventing it from reaching the rider during the warmer months.
Aesthetically, they are available in matte black, matching the engine finish and complementing the different versions of the BMW R1300GS.

Made from 4 mm-thick high-resistance acrylic with rounded edges, they ensure durability and safety. They are secured using 3 mm metal brackets with a textured black finish, allowing adjustment to all three positions. The dimensions are:

• Deflector piece: 159 mm (width) x 172 mm (height) x 55 mm (depth).

• Channel piece: 158 mm (width) x 101 mm (height) x 66 mm (depth).
