Surface Guidelines

The Quad Lock Universal Adaptor uses 3M™ VHB 4952 adhesive, which adheres to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:

• Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, nylon, and acrylic.
• Unpainted metals
• Uncoated glass

The adhesive will not adhere to the following substrates:

• Rubber, TPU, TPE
• Leather
• Silicone
• Hydrophobic-coated glass (also known as fingerprint-resistant glass, found on the back of most modern smartphones)
• Soft-touch coating or paint
• Low-surface-energy plastics such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), acetal, and HDPE.
• Wood

We strongly recommend using a case with the Universal Adaptor if your phone has a glass back.

Please ensure that the mounting surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the Universal Adaptor.
