The FI Cleaner Tool is compatible with a wide range of current Euro 4-compliant motorcycles (from 2017 onward, depending on the make/model). The engine management system monitors the motorcycle’s various sensors. Whenever there is a fault or abnormality in the system, the FI warning light comes on and remains lit even when the fault condition no longer exists—for example, after a connector has been unplugged and then reconnected. Without an OBD tool, several complete operating cycles and a great deal of time may be required to clear the error (sometimes several hundred kilometers before it disappears). The FI Cleaner Tool will not erase the error history (stored errors) from the ECU. It will therefore still be possible to view this list later using a diagnostic tool to resolve recurring problems.
