Puig’s new range of D12 winglets for the BMW S 1000 R was designed with a clear goal: to put aerodynamics first. These side winglets were developed to deliver maximum aerodynamic performance on high-performance motorcycles.

The innovative dual-wing design, with differentiated surfaces separated by a side winglet, channels airflow upward, generating greater downforce without compromising the overall aerodynamic coefficient. The angle of the surfaces has been carefully studied to provide the optimal balance between performance and stability.

Thanks to this configuration, an aerodynamic load of up to 4.4 kg is generated on the front axle, resulting in an anti-wheelie effect, greater high-speed stability (anti-shimmie), improved braking efficiency, and more stable handling when changing direction.
