This original O2 sensor measures the oxygen level in the exhaust gases. The ECU processes this information and readjusts the air/fuel ratio to keep CO2 emissions and fuel consumption as low as possible. However, the motorcycle may experience problems at low engine speeds, run poorly, and/or deliver jerky power. Disconnecting this original sensor causes a warning light to appear on the dashboard; this O2 eliminator allows you to bypass this signal.
